Report Harassment |

To report an incident where an unoffending, law-abiding dog owner has been subjected to verbal or physical harassment or threats, particularly if the harassment is related to the breed of the dog (whether accurate or not).
Please include as much of the following information as possible:
Source of information (how did you find out about it)
City and province of incident
Date and time of incident (local time)
Victim information, including:
- age and sex of victim
- name of victim (if appropriate)
Perpetrator information, including:
- number of perpetrators
- age and sex of perpetrators
- names of perpetrators (if known and appropriate)
- prior known incidents or complaints involving perpetrators
Relationship of victim to perpetrators
Dog information, including:
- Age, sex, breed
- name of dog
- name of dog owner (if appropriate)
- training history
Circumstances prior to incident, including:
- actions of victim
- behaviour of dog
- actions of other people/animals
- location of incident
- any lack of compliance with the law by the victim (e.g., walking a dog off-leash where not permitted)
Detailed description of incident, including how it was terminated
Actions taken after incident, including:
- emergency care and transportation of victim
- actions of police regarding perpetrators
- actions of police or animal control regarding the dog
- current status (criminal or civil) of any court cases regarding this incident
List of authorities notified, including:
- police
- ambulance personnel
- hospital
- animal control
Detailed report of injuries suffered, including expected permanence of those injuries
